Some Orthodox Books

Here’s some recommended reading courtesy of Chritian History magazine, as well as a few of my favs. Anyone else have any required reading for those interested in Orthodoxy?

  1. These are recommended by a local Orthodox parish (St. Stephens):

*Introducing the Orthodox Church by Anthony M. Coniaris
    *Common Ground by Jordan Bajis
*Bible, Church, Tradition by George Florovski

Here are some that I have, but haven’t read yet. They seem like pretty good introductions to Orthodoxy:

*Eastern Orthodox Christianity: A Western Perspective by Daniel B. Clendenin
*Eastern Orthodox Theology: A Contemporary Reader by Daniel B. Clendenin (editor)
